Meet Jan Gambino, M.Ed

Jan Gambino is the former Associate Director of the Pediatric Adolescent Gastroesophageal Reflux Association (PAGER Association), a national non profit patient support organization.

Jan Gambino is a freelance writer and mother of children with acid reflux disease.

Jan holds a B.S. degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Boston University and a Masters degree in Early Childhood/ Special Education from the University of North Carolina At Chapel Hill. She has over 13 years experience working with medically fragile and handicapped infants and preschoolers.

She received intense, on the job training in parenting a child with acid reflux from caring for her two youngest children. This led to her involvement in the Pediatric Adolescent Gastroesophageal Reflux Association (PAGER) five years ago. While she worked with the organization, she authored many PAGER Association parent education materials and has published articles in Exceptional Parent Magazine and Allergy and Asthma Today.

 Jan lives in suburban Maryland with her 3 girls, Emily, age 17 years, Jenna, age 15 years and Rebecca, age 12 years.
