Pharmaceutical manufacturer Orexo has announced that its patent for a new medication to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease has been approved in Europe. The new medication combines two acid-reflux drugs to stop the production of stomach acid and to prevent it from being released. The patent is pending in America.
