GlaxoSmithKline's new Advair HFA inhaler is now available nationwide. The inhaler offers the same corticosteroid and bronchodilator as the Advair Diskus but in an alternative delivery form. The Advair HFA is a metered-dose inhaler, and is recommended for those who might have difficulty tolerating the dry-powder inhalant in the Diskus.
