Meds For Gerd

Drugmaker Pfizer has started Phase I clinical trials for its new
gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) medication. The med--called
PF-04548043--showed good results in preclinical studies, experts
say. The med is designed to speed up the rate of gastric emptying
so that stomach acid does not have time to flow back into a
patient's esophagus.
