The Food and Drug Administration has approved a pill that can be used to diagnose gastroesophageal reflux disease and Barrett's esophagus. The capsule is about the size of a multi-vitamin and contains two tiny cameras. The camera transmits pictures to three sensors that the patient wears during the procedure.
