Protonix Medication

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a generic
version of the heartburn treatment Protonix. Drugmaker Teva says it
will not market the medication until on or after September 7, 2007,
pending the results of a legal dispute. Protonix-maker Wyeth says
that the patent on the medication's active ingredient does not
expire until 2010.
