What Is Barrett Syndrome

According to researchers, a little ice may cool the pain of
Barrett's esophagus. In a current study, researchers spray liquid
nitrogen into an esophagus that has been damaged by acid reflux.
This freezes and kills the precancerous cells that cause Barrett's
esophagus.
