Intestinal Gas Guide

You have identified your most noticeable symptom as belching (burping) or a noisy stomach.

Most of the time, people who are bothered by burping have burping that is episodic and is most noticeable after meals or with a change in posture.

Occasionally, a person can have frequent or incessant small burps that are present throughout the day, persistent for several years, and bothersome during efforts to speak. These burps are usually odorless.

What best describes your burping?

dash  Episodic burping, especially after meals
dash  Chronic, frequent burps that are not associated with meals
