I am of native american and european descent.  I am looking to align myself with good people who desire to improve the lives of other ADHD afflicted folk and lend a hand to uplifting their circumstances.

    Malcolm

Welcome to ADHDCentral.com. I think you will find this site offers a great deal of information on living with ADHD as an adult.

There are a number of ways you can reach out to other people with ADHD. One such place is this site. You can share your experiences and "talk" with other adults with ADHD on our Share Posts, as you have done. Please ask questions, as I am sure since you have just recently been diagnosed, you have many questions. Please also feel free to read other posts and leave a comment, a suggestion or just share some of your experiences with our other members.

We also have a question and answer section on the site and you might read other member's questions that you may be able to provide some insight. You can find the question and answer section here.

If you are looking to also join a support group, you might want to check on the ADDA site and the CHADD site, as both provide listings of support groups.

I will look forward to hearing more about your experiences, how did you come about receiving a diagnosis? You said something about denial, what happened that you accepted your situation? Please tell us more about your story.

    Eileen
