Question of the Week: What Do You Say to Someone Who Doesn't Believe in ADHD?

Eileen Bailey Health Guide
  • Last week, my question was: Do you know someone that is in denial about their ADHD or refuses treatment? We received a number of responses to that question and it isn't too late, you can still share your experiences!

This week, I am continuing the theme of "not believing in ADHD" and would like to know how you handle someone who criticizes your diagnosis or the diagnosis of your child. Someone who thinks you are "making excuses" for your child's behavior or you just want to "drug your child." We all know that these are people that are ignorant of the facts, however, they can sometimes hurt us deeply.

Thanks and I am looking forward to a great response.
