I read a report on Consumer Reports this morning that said, "...there seems to have been a shift in acceptance over the past few years, almost a complete about-face." The report references celebritites such as Michael Phelps and Howie Mandel have increased awareness and taken away some of the stigma attached to a diagnosis of ADHD.
My question this week is:
Have you found the stigma of having ADHD has lessened? Do you feel you or your child are still struggling with misconceptions of ADHD? Have perceptions changed?
