My daughter as a baby was the opposite of all the symptoms listed in this article and she turned out to have ADHD crazy style. She was a very, very active baby in utereo and I haven't always wondered about that.
Interesting stuff though, always trying to understand this condition and how to deal with it.
A recent research study in the Journal of Pediatrics looked at 980,000 Danish children born between 1988 and 2001. The study shows a connection between the Apgar score a baby gets just minutes after birth and the likelihood of that baby developing symptoms of ADHD later in life.

Thanks for your comments. I quite honestly can't remember what my son's Apgar scores were, it was so long ago. But it is all very interesting. I think with the continuing research we will understand even more about this condition in the years to come.
