Eileen,

 

Great ideas. I get this question a lot and knowing that those with ADHD are often poor self-observers, I also suggest they ask someone who knows them well whether they see any changes in them.

 

I really like the idea of charting, though. It gives a more objective tracking system that you can see with your own eyes.

Have you read anything about QEEG? Quantatative EEG? They show differences.

Also T.O.V.A. a very simple and inexpensive test? (Test of variables of Attention)

Shouldn't you have something to compare the behavior to?  Like a baseline, say the behavior was like this before meds began, and after charting, were improved or not?  Or is this to chart behaviors that the person themselves hope to change on their own?
