You are absolutely right about the positive side of ADHD.  For me and my son I think creativity and creative thinking are our most valuabel assets.  My son is the one with boundless energy and a wicked sense of humor.  I am very thankful that these good traits were bestowed on us along with the frustration and concentation issues.  Sometimes I think the good really outweighs the bad.

I am thankful, that I can always see the bright side of things and find solutions to problems.  I can fly by the seat of may pants and am the last minute queen.  I can start with nothing and come up with a variety of stuff for all in a short amount of time.  Unfortunately I don't always have boundless energy, but I do have great big spurts of it.  (Then I need a nap Sealed!)  I can come up with an idea and I can act on it and don't let obsticles stand in my way, and can often find work arounds for existing obsticles.  In other words, I can make things happen.  For all of these gifts I am grateful.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I am very thankful for my three kids.  Two of them are ADHD.  They have a lot of energy.  When It is a nice day; playing outside is a great way to burn off excess energy.  Thank you for the article "Why You Should Be Thankful For ADHD.

I am so the person who gets aggrevated, and upset with a short fuse!  This reminds me that her little quirks are a blessing, she makes everyone laugh.  Every year she demands to wear her Snow White dress to dinner, and for not apparent reason it gets under my skin.  This year she wants to show a (stupid by my mind) video something she found on the web about thanksgiving.  Well.. after reading this i'm going to let her.

    Thank you... for reminding me..

    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!!
