Auditory stimulation is listening to music when completing a task. One study showed that children with ADHD that listened to music completed math tests better than those that listened to other noises or did not have any noise. Although this doesn't indicate auditory stimulation should be used as a treatment for ADHD it may provide a helpful strategy to help you or your children better complete tasks.

This week's question:

Do you use music to help you when you are trying to focus on a task? Does it help?
