Question of the Week: Most Embarrassing Moment

It would be a tie between going to work without my sandals and having to walk into school barefoot while my principal was taking new parents on a building tour, and putting my white ski jacket on at the END of the day to go home only to find there was a bra stuck to the velcro on the front of my coat...

My son was having a mega-meltdown at a posh shopping area and tea room in Scotland, while we were on vacation. I remember it like it was yesterday, but in fact it was about 3 years ago.   He kept throwing his glasses, throwing himself down too, onto the cement pavement in front of the shops.  I was trying my best to get him to calm down, or pick him up to take him away from all the stares....., and passers by were watching the "old Yank lady" trying to control a small "out of control" boy, and giving advice while they walked by.  "He needs spanking" or "Give the wee pet a hug".... or "you ought to have kept him at home if he cannae behave"...   while I am just trying to cope.  Then he had an asthma attack, brought on by the tantrum, and had to get his rescue inhaler, which he threw when he was done....  After about 20 minutes (seemed like hours) he did calm down, and we had some milk and tea, and continued on our trip.  What a memory!  Yes it was embarassing.
