    This is really good information Eileen.  I have been dealing with this issue with my son...well...forever.  People working with my child early on said he had trouble with motor planning.  But now it is...initiation and follow through with activities.  His mind wanders and whether he is brushing his teeth or doing school work...he loses his focus and his mind and body begin to wander.  We use a lot of visual schedules to help and breaking things down into smaller tasks.
