I am thinking that I am not so affected by this although I do know that sunlight makes me feel happier.  On My Depression Connection there was a really interesting post by a member about Spring Depression.  I was very intrigued because most people talk about the winter blues.  So who knows?  My depression is fairly consistent through the seasons.

This is a really interesting topic!  I hope more people chime in with their experiences.

I have bipolar disorder and SAD. My depression and energy levels worsen with the dark, dank and foggy Fresno, CA weather. I recently got a light therapy box which I use every morning for about 45 min and it's making a difference in my energy level, alertness, sleep cycle and depressive symptoms. Right now, I am on an extended vacation. I am interested to see if symptoms continue to improve with light thx even when I return to work full time next week.
