About Me

I have ADHD and was not diagnosed until around the age of 22. I suffered through grade school and then two years of college before diagnosis. Once I heard what my diagnosis was there was instant relief  on my part, no more fighting with overworked 'professionals' that I did not have bi-polar, and less fighting with others to say to them I am NOT lazy. Little was I to realize that my fight for my rights and place in society had really just begun, and little did I know that I would become my own best advocate. My ADHD was exasperated because I was raised by my grandmother who had undiagnosed munchhausen's by proxy and I have celiacs disease.
