my cleaning goals!

By Melissajane Saturday, February 09, 2008

Ok since my issue is keeping my kids from destroying and keeping them  happy and from making messes and keeping my house clean. Anyway my idea. I am going to make sure every door and drawer is child locked and get baby gates that I can easily get through to lock them out of places that don't have doors. Keep them upstairs if I am upstairs or downstairs if I am downstairs. My issue is that I get really distracted by things and then my kids are running off and going and getting into things and pulling things out, First I need to get this house clean!!!

Ok so I have started this.

I  have been listing the things that need to get done and trying to do it that way. This overwhelms me a ton. So the new idea.

I am going to list what I get done. I am going to motivate myself by posting my done things. I want more and more done so I can post and list them!

I know a lot of you are reading my share posts and are motivating me and are giving me great tips and are cheering me on.

I am going to list and post a picture of things when I get them done.

So I am working on this and I have the boys room almost done I just need my husband to move something. So I will take a picture when its done!!!

Hope I am not bugging anyone that reads my posts by this. I just need a place that understands me and will stand by me and actually cares that I acomplish these tasks and is happy with what I am doing and is trying to help me!

Thanks everyone and thanks for helping me stay on track!!!

Oh yeah I am taking Adderall for those that have asked and Zolft to manage myself but I still do not have much energy during the day. The doctor has given my something to try for sleeping. I am going to start using that again so I am will be getting better sleep and I drank a energy drink today to see if that ups my energy.

Anyway so I will be back with my first done item when I am done and just go from there!!

Thanks for being there for me all of you!!!!

I really have no one else to share this with that even understands me so its nice to have a place I can turn to and show off my accomplishments and everything!!

So I might just make a daily list everyday of everything I get done and keep up on it and have a nice list lf done things each day. Some things I will even take pictures of for my own motivation and so when I need to work on something again I can see the finished product and want to do that again. Then I can have a nice picture everyday to motivate myslef!

:)

Another day ,another dollar.

There is this wonderful website that helps me clean my apt.  And I don't even have any kids, it's me and the cat.  You list your cleaning goals for the day, and do them or not, and all the ladies cheer you on, WTG (way to go) Melissajane!  Plus the ladies give tips how to do it more effeciently, or a fast way to do that.  It is set up for those with depression/bipolar, but all MI's (mental illnesses) are accepted.  One lady does have ADD, and I have ADD + others.  Maybe I'll see you there.  sheforums.com, then go to the main discussion board, then to Housekeeping for those with depression/bipolar.  Good luck to you.

Thank you girls!! I have depression, ADHD, and anxiety. Well today so far I got the boys room picked up and de-cluttered and vacuumed. Ashlie's clothing I went through and put everything that is too big in bags to go downstairs same with the too small stuff. My sister's give me their old stuff. One is done having kids and the other is having a boy and then will be done after this baby so I get all their girl clothing! I got Ashlie's room all picked up and her bed made with her nice clean sheets. I bet she is loving sleeping in her clean room.

I also got the load out of the dryer and folded it and I washed my diapers (yes my kids use cloth diapers!) They are in the dryer now and I need to get them out. My sheets are in the wash now. Better move everything. Today Tyler left the hamster cage open and when I found that it was open I thought both hamsters where in their because they both hide up in the tube and there was only one up there but I thought there was two. I needed to clean it so I pulled it down from its spot and I noticed there was only one. So I have been searching for the other one and can not find it anywhere. At this time our cat was in the house and when I found her I threw her out. Sure hope she did not get to it. I just want to know if its dead or alive just find it so I can know. Then if its dead I can throw it out and just get McKay a new hamster. Oh well but I did get a bunch done today. I would take pictures but at the moment I am having a  blank about where I set my camera I remember it sitting on the top of something I usually keep it on my desk at the top but I don't see it so now I need to remember where I put it. I always put it up high somewhere but now I got to remember which up there I put it! :)

Back to plugging along! :) Thanks for the website!!!

Ah, there's nothing better than clean sheets.

When I was growing up I had a couple of hamsters - (one at a time). My favorite hamster would open the door of his cage - (which was not easy...this was one smart hamster) - then climb up my bed linens to come and say hello.

I'm not sure I'd enjoy that as an adult. But as a kid, I thought it was pretty cool.

Do check out the website. I think it might offer you the structure and support you're seeking. I spent an hour or so reading the thread Stardust is on...nice, nice people. I think you'll feel right at home there Melissajane.

I found the hamster!! I set the cage down on the floor and put some food next to it. The hamster came crawling out from behind the rocking chair footstool! I was so excited to see it! I did not know if we would ever see it again! Next time do not put my chair where it is easily moved over to the cage!!! :)

Ok today is church so I am off~ BYE!!

Cool!  Very cool!  I think that's great you go to church too.  Can help in your healing.  I'm not going today because of bad weather -21 degrees windchill and wind causes white out conditions and you can't see where you're going.  Very disorientating.  Besides I don't feel up to it.  I'm happy for you!!
