in a holding mode, the adderall helps to lift you up some but not enought. I think
you are a low grade bipolar. He raised my adderall to 20mg. i have to go back in 4 weeks. At that time he will wean me off the cymbalta, and start me on a bipolar
med.

It certainly sounds as if you have been successful as a parent! And how exciting to have so many grandchildren to enjoy (and then send home). I am also a grandmother, I have one grandson, 2 1/2 years old. We spend every Sunday afternoon with him.
I am glad your doctor's appointment went well. Let me know how the next one goes.

Kim
Thanks for your post. I hope your doctor appointment went well. I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice, but I can share some information I have learned.
Antidepressants can cause sexual side effects and this could be the reason for your low sex drive. Wellbutrin is an antidepressant that does not normally cause sexual side effects. You may want to talk with your doctor about whether this would be good for you.
As far as increasing the dosage for adderall, you should also talk with your doctor about that. So many times, it is a matter of trial and error to find the right medication and the right dosage to work for you. Medications work differently for everyone so there is no "right" or "wrong" dosage, it is just a matter of finding what works best for you.
You have raised six children, what an accomplishment that is! How old are your children? Are they still at home or are they grown now?
I will look forward to hearing more of your story.
Eileen
