Thank you for your post and welcome to ADHDCentral.com.

I am not a medical professional and would not be able to give you medical advice.

I am sorry that you are having such a rough time right now. Many people are able to stop Adderall without feeling withdrawal symptoms, however, symptoms can include

* Excessive sleeping
* Increased appetite
* Depression
* Anxiety
* Cravings

These feelings can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on your previous dosage and how long you have been taking the medication. I am not aware of any treatment to help in reducing these symptoms.

You may want to speak with your doctor about slowly reducing your medication rather than stopping it suddenly. I do not, however, know your situation or why you have been forced to stop it.

I can completely empathize with you. Each time I try to get off Adderall I get irritable, depressed, and all I want to do it sleep. It's the "amphetamine crash" that happens to all of us when the speed is eliminated. Why do you want to stop taking Adderall?
