I have a child that has sever ADHD and is on 40mg of Focalin XR. He does very well at school but by the evening he is all over the place and has no attention span. He screams, throws stuff.     Have you tried vyvanse for you son and a mood stabilzer in the evening?  What are you doing for your own AD/HD?  Are you on meds?  Does he have an outlet, such as swimming, footbal, basketball, etc.  You guys will bounce off each other until you find that happy medium.  Let me know what's going on in a little more detail especially you. I am 44 years old with recently diagnosed PTSD and AD/HD, my eight year old has been diagnosed for 2.5 years and is doing really good on vyvanse, I am on adderall.  Keep in touch
