Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 04:39 AMJG, it's good to hear from someone in shoes like mine! My husband wasn't always so supportive. It wasn't until he saw my medications finally make a difference that he accepted my diagnosis. I'm afraid the chaos will always be a part of my life, but I'm taking steps (baby steps!) to help reduce it and little by little I think it's improving. It will take a lot longer to deal with the guilt that's been with me all my life. If this is new to you, do as much research as you can, but remember that you can't believe everything you read! Try a website called Psych.Education.org. It is the most comprehensive site I have found about bipolarII, but be warned, it has link after link after link! Thanks for the support. You hang in there too. And remember, as I'm sure you know, you can't take care of anyone else if you don't take care of yourself first. Believe me, I know how hard that is! Best of luck to you.
