I am 53 years old, extremely hard working, good employee but.....
I think there is a possbility that I have ADHD though I do not
fit most of the symptoms listed. I work extremely hard but it seems
that I cannot keep my attention on one thing for very long. Sometimes
I think I am just losing my mind. I have so many thoughts going
constantly - things I want to do and accomplish, things I want to change
at my house, projects to complete, things I want to learn to do.etc but
only a portion get completed. I am definitely not lazy but can't seem to
stay focused. Help me understand myself so I can enjoy my life. My
mind is a whirl of ideas not done. What do I have?

There are many different symptoms of ADD and for some people, especially those with inattentive ADD, it can be difficult to diagnose. There are a number of "screening" tests on the internet that you can take. These should not be used for diagnostic purposes, however, they may give you an idea of whether to discuss this with your physician and also give you a starting point for a discussion.
I previously wrote a post listing some of the online sites, you can access it here:

I hope these help. Please let me know how it turns out.
