I would then tell him how ownderful he is and special and that there are many others out there that have the same thing that he has and it isn't so bad. I would explain, in the most simple way, that people do not "understand" what he has and what he goes through. This is not an "UNCOMMON" issue anymore. These children are by no means, Stupid!!! They Learn Differently, that is all.

I blamed the Paternal side of my son's genetics on this at first. I no longer do, I believe it is on his Maternal side. From the time I had my Hysterectomy until now, waking up and being in "Surgical Menopause"has made me notice many things. The first of them being things I've dealt with for years, thinking I was crazy?!?!?!? I definitely am not crazy!!!!I may just go get tested for this myself, as soon as I find a doctor who can test adults in our areaIt happens to the "Best of us"!!!!
