I would then tell him how ownderful he is and special and that there are many others out there that have the same thing that he has and it isn't so bad. I would explain, in the most simple way, that people do not "understand" what he has and what he goes through. This is not an "UNCOMMON" issue anymore. These children are by no means, Stupid!!! They Learn Differently, that is all.
I blamed the Paternal side of my son's genetics on this at first. I no longer do, I believe it is on his Maternal side. From the time I had my Hysterectomy until now, waking up and being in "Surgical Menopause"has made me notice many things. The first of them being things I've dealt with for years, thinking I was crazy?!?!?!? I definitely am not crazy!!!!I may just go get tested for this myself, as soon as I find a doctor who can test adults in our area
It happens to the "Best of us"!!!!
Thanks for reading & Take Care.....

. We are a family coming from outside of Houston living in the rual area, and my daughter has already been labled as lazy, Shes not that at all, She was so use to getting that one on one attention from the teachers , she cant understand why the teacher this year ( minding that we are in a diffrent school this year) why her teacher says she doesnt have time to have one on one, going crazy almost to the point where she just doesnt even want to go. I believe the teacher has put her in a situation where she has labeled her has the SLOW one in her class not to good for my daughters self esteem Im sure, I have asked what I need to do to help and theres no comments, Just about how bad she is at her work, Not knowing where to go with this .
