Thank you for all of your help and comments over the past month already. I have thought about the board often, but this is the first time I have been able to actually sit down and try updating.
This week has gone by like a whirlwind. It's been good, don't get me wrong.
But I'm noticing, and maybe this is just me being nit-picky, it may actually be a "positive" thing, but the more I make TO DO LISTS and follow up the the THINGS I have to do, the more I'm finding that I keep ADDING MORE TO THE LIST. Why can't the list just stay as it is and give me time to just chill? I keep wanting to fill up the tank.
Has this ever happened to you? It's like, now, I feel "ultraproductive" (when I know really I've just reached productive). I stay up late trying to tie ends and write e-mails I could have done during the day but I was busy being productive with other stuff. I keep adding more events. I've basically been gone seeing someone or doing something every night this week. GAK! I'm already thinking about how I will fill my weekend with activities, exercise, blah blah blah blah.
I don't know if this is necessarily "better" than how I was before. Before I just didn't do that much. I sat around, pushed off the few activities I did "need" to accomplish until the last minute, savoured them. Now I'm in like ultra do-gooder mode. And I've been making mistakes. Probably because I'm so tired.

Hi GS,
Thanks for your kind words- I'm glad you're finding the posts here helpful. And thanks, too for your interesting update!
I can't recall now if you've started taking medication for your ADHD. If so, it can be an exciting time, getting more things accomplished than ever before. The success of that can lead to wanting to do more...and more..and well...you can see where that leads!
I'm wondering if you can begin to prioritize your to-do list and write in specific times/dates for down time. You do sound like you're beginning to get worn out from all of your activities.
When prioritizing your list, think about cutting back to maybe 1/2 of what you have now. Can you do that?
Terry
