I still think that you might have misunderstood her when she said you were beyond hope. I wish you'd ask her again to clarify what she meant, and write it down so we can see for ourselves just exactly what she meant. My guess is she really meant to say that if things get too complicated for her level of expertise, that she might want you to see another therapist who can help you better.
