I am a mom of 5, 4 of which are with my ex-husband. I was diagnosed with ADHD in my adult years, and wished that I had been when I was younger. I was considered the class clown and the major disrupter. This caused me to be unable to concentrate in school, talk, fidget, and do everything else imaginable. For this I was constantly in trouble, I had to stay after school, and was grounded a lot. I am 33 yrs. old now and am glad ADHD is something people try to understand now.

Two of my sons have been diagnosed with ADHD, my first when he was 6 and my third when he was 3. Unfortunatly my 4 older children live with there father who doesn't pay attention to the disease. My oldest son has severe mood swings and tantrums...he is going to be 12!! He is on depression meds but doesn't go to counseling???? I wish that someone could help me to get my children the help they need because my ex husband just wont do it. Somehow he got custody of the kids when he is the criminal. He too, has ADHD, but was medicated as a young teen boy. I love my children and want the absolute best for them. I do not want them to feel worthless and shamefull as I did as a child....

I want them to have the world
