Taking Care of YOU When Your Family Has ADHD

What an important concept and one, as women, we often forget. We spend so much time taking care of everyone around us that we frequently forget that we need attention too.

It is important to remember about us, how about that for a New Year's Resolution?

Eileen,

Great idea- we should all add that to our New Year's Resolution list!  Big Smile

Terry dear,

I read this AFTER I wrote my response to your New Year Resolutions posting.  I regret I was repeating what you have already so perfectly stated!

Terry- I agree with your post.  I have a husband who travels frequently, and 5 kids, 4 of whom have ADHD.  In more prosperous times I use to use his Marriott reward points to check into a hotel over night and just read, write and sleep.  By the end of the day and a half, I was aching for some noise.

On my site, http://www.powermomsunite.com, I regularly post on Fridays about taking care of mom in an ADHD family.  This article includes less costly approaches to talking care of mom, in these frugal times...  http://www.powermomsunite.com/2011/03/18/care-of-the-adhd-mom/

Hope you and your readership, find it helpful!
