    Thank you for sharing this information. My oldest son, with ADHD, always had hypersensitivities, especially to clothing. Socks in shoes are always tough, they have to feel exactly right or they will be bothered with them to the point of not being able to concentrate all day. Tags in shirts are the same way.

     

    My youngest son, (no ADHD but possible learning disabilities, dyslexia, CAPD) also has hypersensitivities and absolutely never wears a winter coat. These new heavy sweatshirts are great, he is okay wearing one of them but always carries a coat, never wears it. He is also very picky about foods and the textures of the foods.

     

    You are right, there is so little information about this and how it relates to ADHD and learning disabilities but there is most definately a connection.
