ADHD and direct relationship to Hashimoto's and Hypothyroid

I just learned there is a relationship with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and also early onset Hypothyroid. Something rarely mentioned.

I've heard that hypothyroid is sometimes misdiagnosed as ADHD. Is there more to it than that?
