Nice Day

Today is actually becoming a nice day.I woke up late ..8:30 am to my 2 year old next to me in bed covered in chocolate.He somehow got out of his bed and found the Hostess cupcakes and decided breakfast!!! It was so funny! I had a meeting at 12noon. I was up, dressed ,and out of the house by 11:34.Thank God for a smooth ride.If anyone knows anything about LA traffic , then you know I took a chance.I made it at 12:06.(hooray!) The meeting went FANTASTIC! My 2 yr old got picked by an agent and they signed him on the spot today.

I'm home now.Don't really feel like doing much, but I think I will get caught up on laundry and maybe cook something special.The sun is perfect and for some reason it seems as if it's shining on me. Feels good.

P.s I put on an old pair of jeans today.They actually fit sorta nice.I stopped at the store on the way to the meeting and a guy leans out the window and says"Excuse me, how old are you?" I said "How old do I look?" He says"21, 22".

Now that ....Is the start of a GOOD day.

Congratulations Urbanscrapper. Who knows where this adventure will take you. We all can use a good day now and then. The last time you posted, you mentioned that you were struggling with your creative flow. How's that going?

So glad to hear your day went so well. I do hope you let us know when to look for your son in a commercial, show etc. We will all make sure to watch.

The hostess cupcake story is so funny. I must admit, cake for breakfast is one of my favorites, and chocolate cake is that much better. (I rarely eat cake for dessert, it is so much better in the morning.)

Hey Urbanscrapper!

What a great day!! And I have seen the traffic in L.A. you are certainly right!! You never know what you'll get!

Congrats on your son getting the part. I hope he enjoys doing the camera work! Do tell us when the commerical is supposed to air, or if there is a link to it online somewhere.

If you don't keep a journal, maybe you should start one by putting postings like this one in it, so when you have a particularly challenging day, you can look back on these good days and remember, and smile. That is where I am filing this story. Under warm and fuzzy times with your kids who grow up way too quickly!!
