Looking at the many shareposts here, I realize I am blessed in many ways. I have three little pre-school boys, two of them learning disabled. One ADHD, one Autism Spectrum Disorder.
When they were younger, it was so hard! But, we have them diagnosed, and they are going to special Pre-K. ...

Thank you for your post. I am glad you can see the beauty and wonder of your children. Although many parents come here to share experiences and look for information on handling behaviors they may see in their children, I think all of the parents believe they are blessed and see the wonder in their children, as you do.
Our children can be a handful and can exhaust us, but they are also loving, creative and intelligent children. Even on the most exhausting of days, to receive a hug from your child instantly makes you feel better and realize all they have to give you and how much they enrich your life.
Thanks again for sharing.

Eileen,
My two affected boys are less than a year apart, and we have 3 pre-school age boys altogether, so things were VERY rough for awhile! We despaired.
But, both of them have shown a lot of improvement now. Our eldest is in regular kindergarten, and is doing great. No problems or incidents.
I am glad we caught things early. It also seems the diagnosis was correct, or improvement would be less dramatic.
One blessing I am also grateful for, is the professionals we have been dealing with. We all know there are a lot of failing school systems out there, and that kind of job seems to attract a significant percentage of the worst people. But, we have been richly blessed with competent, caring professionals, as the results show.
