if ADHD runs in the family in either marriage or just being born in one, then my experience says it can be the ugliest horrific mess if the parties do not know and are educated about it well. I have seen it between my parents who both have it with different flavours and it can ruin your childhood if you have it. Might tell my mom about it in her mid 60s, my dad mid 70s would say this is a conspiracy of drug companies. well, i havent seen myself a potentially uglier thing than being in a home where 3 out of four have it bad and do not know. it will happen less with all the awareness going on, but i am sure there are families who do not have access to what we know and have it bad daily.
