Parenting with ADD/ADHD

I was recently presenting at an ADHD conference. A woman approached me afterwards to ask about how to talk to her grown son. They had both been diagnosed with ADHD somewhat recently, after a lot of struggle over the years. She became tearful as we talked about what her life was like as a parent with ADHD raising a child with ADHD, before anyone knew anything about the condition. She expressed deep regret for both of them, that their lives had...

But...

More About “Pace” – Pace and Rhythm

This is a continuation of the conversation about pace from my last post, which was my first blog post, actually. Hey! I've learned a few new things in 2009. I also learned how to use Google calendar online, and I do feel accomplished! I feel ‘contained,' but that is not what I want to talk about here. I can highly recommend finding ways to feel contained, though.
Back to pace. I've noticed something at the gym. As I work away on my...
