Dictaphone

Tuesday, April 08, 2008 at 11:21 AMHello,
I completly understand your feeling and I have the same one sometimes (hard to start).
I live with this thing for 34 years now.
In fact, I just have learned about ADHD, and I'm glad to put a name on this "strange" behavior.
Reading your words, two things came to my mind:
1. Self Suggestion: I know it's not easy, but should be nice to replace negative thoughts by positive. I mean the most important in life is to love ourselves the way we are and try to get advantage of what we have of better. :o)
Everybody have something wrong, AND something good. Focus on your qualities.
2. Did you ever think about recording your thoughts in a "dictaphone"? The idea is to make a plan in a paper and instead of develop that plan by writing, try to do this, by talking. After, just listen and type it in a "word" document page (as the previous advice)?
The advantage with a dictaphone is that your voice can maybe follow better your mind that your hands to type.
I really hope you'll accomplish what you have to do. I'm even sure!
All the best for you!
Sandra
PS. sorry about my poor english, I'm brazilian french.

I hope today went better for you. All of us get that feeling of being totally overwhelmed now and again and with all of the many projects you have going on, it is no wonder. Sometimes, I can't seem to write anything but have lots of ideas as you said. On those days, I open up a word file and save just the title. That way, I won't lose the idea and for those days when I can't seem to come up with ideas, I have several word files saved with titles and can open one and develop the idea.
