Finally admitting I have ADHD

I guess I have always had ADHD I just didn't know it. I look back now and see some of the the signs; boredom at school, hyperfocus on things that interested me, inappropriate behavior, etc. I just didn't have the hyperactivity component that most people think is required to have ADHD. just started Ritalin a week ago..

I've been taking ritalin for a week now. I don't really know what to expect, if the effect will be very clear to me or if I'll barely notice it..  of course it will take some time to find the right dosage for me, but I guess I'm expecting miracles..  can anyone tell me where to look for improvements or do you think I'll feel them myself... Read moreChevron

Newly diagnosed

After years of being treated for depression without success, I was diagnosed with ADD.  I started taking Vyvanse a week ago.  The first couple of days, I noticed a difference in my mood and I felt more productive.  I had some trouble sleeping but that seems to abated.  I am not feeling anything now.  No marked improvement.... Read moreChevron

Update on my life thusfar...I can't believed I was diagnosed 3 months ago. Where does time go?

Hi everyone! Gosh, I have missed this board so much .I need to read everyone's shareposts and catch up.    My trip was GREAT!
