joy in finishing projects

I am finally realizing how good it is to finish a project. I finished a cross-stitch pattern the other day and instead of dread I felt relief. I have felt dread in finishing projects in the past. I still am getting slightly overwhelmed with everything completely in order but loving it as well. Can anyone relate?

I was diagnosed a couple of years ago with ADD. I was so releived to know that I was not lazy or stupid.  I am now 40 years old.
