rTMS and FDA approval

Does anyone know the current status of FDA approval of rTMS (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation) for depression treatment in the USA? It has been offerred in many developed countries around the world for several years. Why must we be the last?Mike

ECT-TMS-MST

Lets hear more about TMS, ECT, MST, etc for depression and bipolar therapy. All of these have either been shown to be more effective than drugs or psychotherapy, or have that potential, but we hear little about them. The durg companies seem to drown them out. Meds are not the only answer!!! Mike
