At a Glance

Can exercise help ADHD symptoms?  Some studies have shown that exercise can help improve memory, planning, prioritizing, attention span, decrease hyperactivity, improve mood and increase motivation.  Levels of chemical dopamine, often lower in ADHD patients, are increased through exercise.  Stimulant medications boost these chemicals; exercise does it naturally.
