At a Glance

Parents with ADHD teenagers often must deal with a child whose hormones are not only raging, but are also coupled with ADHD symptoms. The teenage years are also an important and tricky time because of the increasing independence of the young adults as they get older and leave the structure of home. Parenting a teenager with ADHD therefore takes a careful balance of nurture, yet not too much involvement.
