I have ADHD as well as Epilepsy. Almost every one of my neices and nephews also have been diagnosed with ADHD. (5 out of 7 neices & nephews). None of my 3 grandchildren have it however. I saw my psych and asked him that. I ased him since I had been diagnosed with bipolar if that meant I didn't have ADHD. He told me that it may but that I may have both. He said that if I have both the bipolar needs to be treated first and then the ADHD but that he still wasn't going to medicate me for the AdHD because of the bad reaction I had to... hi im angela with a 5 yr old son who has absense seizure epilepsy and may have adhd dont no much on it
