Newly diagnosed

After years of being treated for depression without success, I was diagnosed with ADD. I started taking Vyvanse a week ago. The first couple of days, I noticed a difference in my mood and I felt more productive. I had some trouble sleeping but that seems to abated. I am not feeling anything now. No marked improvement.... Do I have ADHD

I saw my psych and asked him that. I ased him since I had been diagnosed with bipolar if that meant I didn't have ADHD. He told me that it may but that I may have both. He said that if I have both the bipolar needs to be treated first and then the ADHD but that he still wasn't going to medicate me for the AdHD because of the bad reaction I had to...
