Q: Is it safe to take sleeping pills to counter act the insomnia of taking adderall

Based on my personal knowledge and in conversations with people with ADHD, some do take sleeping aids to help combat insomnia. However, before using over-the-counter medications, you should always speak with your doctor. Your doctor should be aware of all medications you are taking in order to effectively monitor any potential interactions. This includes over-the-counter medications, supplements and vitamins.
