Q: I have a 11y with adhd he dont want to eat he is on adderall

I have a 11y that has adhd he is on adderall and he seems to not want to eat we have to make him he is ill and hatfull when u ask him something he dont want to go out and play or do anything he has headacks is this normal.

Thanks for your question. Loss of appetite and headaches are listed in Adderall's drug information as potential side effects. Aditionally, changes in attitude (i.e. agitation, aggression, etc.) are listed as a more serious side effect in need of medical attention. You should talk to you doctor to make sure Adderall is the right drug for your son, as well as understanding these new symptoms. I hope this helps.
