Q: My son had ADD problems in h.s. ,went to a counselor, but in college has more problems.

He is very, very intelligent but cannot finish the tasks in class or with his study program. He can't find anything. He misses deadlines for simple items. When questioned about grades, or losing things, or missing deadlines, he lies and says it is the professor's fault or the computer at school made a mistake. The lies permeate  his whole life: academically, family, friends.  Should I contact my family physician to discuss medication? The counseling in high school helped but his focus is so scattered now.
