Q: Where can I research (my) ADD w/o having to wade thru all the ADHD stuff?

As the site says "ADD and ADHD are distinct conditions, though they share many of the same symptoms." Tired of traditional "medicines" etc. where can I find Medical authorities/research information about herbal treatments for ADD rather that dealing with "stimulants" that get complicated with my heart & asthma, stress... issues. I've heard good things about Ginko Biloba and Omega 3 (fish oil) and have been using them but apprently not enough. Where can I get that kind of advice?

Thank you for your question. According to the medical definition, as per the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual), ADD and ADHD are the same condition. Treatment for both, would be the same.

Additional information on the site here:

ADD vs. ADHD

As far as information on herbal/alternative treatments:

I hope this information helps.

Hi there. Do you have a natural food store anywhere near you? My mom is a nutritionist and handles this kind of thing all the time. If you don't I can get her to write you a message of what to day. Brands and all :) I wish you the best of luck and they can really work. Also watch your diet. Toodles my friend
