Surprised Wow...I am surprised that no one answered this question a long time ago!!! Well, here is what I know. Just in case you are still wondering after a couple years!!! No, ADHD does not turn into Bi Polar. Sometimes people have both. ADHD symptoms and Bi Polar symptoms have alot in common though. You are born with one or the other, or maybe both. ADHD was wrongly diagnosed on myself as a kid and my son 1 year ago. We have Bi Polar, and properly medicated, we are doing great!!! The hardest thing about all of this for me was, to find a doctor that knew what the heck he was doing!!!!!! Bi Polar is not curable. It is tolerable though.--Kristi
