I have taken 30mg amphetamine salt twice a day for the last five years. The 30mg dose seems to be effective for about 6 to 8 hours. When I started my doctor increased the dosage at each med check untill we felt I had effective dosage. I also have tried time release capsules which I thought was very ineffective.
